Meet the puppets!
I love to spread the joy of puppets! My main focus is with memory care. A type of puppet therapy actually. The primary purpose of puppetry in memory care, is to bring about a sense of well-being.
Puppet curiosity brings about conversations, memories, and questions. It is a therapeutic activity, even if it is passive or participatory, It brings about a calming and uplifting effect.
She is a little gal, only about 4 years old, loves pink, along with her new, pink tennis shoes! She sure loves to visit with the seniors.
She was inspired by the ladies who sat at my moms lunch table, at her memory care, who would talk to my puppet. I could tell it gave them so much joy!!
Pricilla Pink was inspired by an opera singer in memory care that I had visited. She loves to wear anything that sparkles! Of course, pink is her favorite color!
